Password Privacy
We never store your passwords. Instead, use your device’s built-in password manager (Face ID, Touch ID, Android Biometrics) to keep credentials secure.
Encryption
Every document is encrypted on your device before it travels to our servers - and stays locked down at rest. AES-256 ensures only you can unlock your files.
Penetration Testing
Our certified ethical hackers probe every corner of our platform each quarter - just like real attackers - to spot and fix any vulnerabilities, fast.
Authentication (2FA)
Protect your login with time-sensitive codes sent to your email or phone. It’s the simplest way to block unauthorised access - even if someone knows your password.
Access to Your Data
Your vault is private by default. We share only when you instruct us - either via executor access (once a death certificate is provided) or through your Lasting Power of Attorney.

How is my data encrypted in the Adeus platform?
We use AES-256 end-to-end encryption for all documents, both in transit and at rest.
What happens to my documents if I lose my login details?
You can reset your password via email. If you still need help, our support team can assist securely.
Can I enable two-factor authentication for extra protection?
We use 2FA by default, we will send you a unique code by email every time you log in.
How often does adeus back up my encrypted vault?
We perform automatic, encrypted backups daily to ensure your data is always recoverable.
Who can access my Digital Vault and under what conditions?
Your adeus Digital Vault is your private space for storing your will, and recording important information and documents. Only you have access until it's time to share the information with your named Executor and/or Key Contacts to help settle your estate, or tie up your affairs.
